Late, Lost, & Damaged Items
Overdue items normally incur a fine of 30¢ per item per day.
It is the responsibility of the borrower to pay the cost of replacing lost or damaged items.
The Library allows you to accumulate $20 in fines before any payment is required. Once you owe $20 or more you are required to bring your balance below the limit. For example, if you owe $20.50 you will need to pay at least 51¢ to bring your balance below the $20 limit. (As well as return any outstanding items.)
If you owe $20 or more you will be blocked from any further borrowing, and your results may be withheld. Borrowing privileges will be restored, and results released, as soon as you get your balance below $20.
You pay fines with your student card. Credit can be added to your card using the print kiosks in the libraries.
