Music Industry: Entrepreneurship & Innovation

A library guide for Diploma of Music Industry (Business), Associate Degree in Applied Business (Music Industry), and Bachelor of Applied Business (Music Industry) students

Journals online

We subscribe to hundreds of journals! but they're online, not on the shelf. You'll find them in the Library Databases.

We recommend several databases for Music Industry.

EbscoHost has 4 that are useful.

It has

  • Business Source Premier
  • Australian and New Zealand Reference Centre
  • Vocational Studies Complete (good for working in the music industry, and some music trade statistics)
  • Academic Search Elite (a good general academic source)

Rock's BackPages is another database we subscribe to.

AustLII (available on the Web) is an excellent resource for Australian law and legal matters.

Trove (also available on the Web) is the ultimate resource for finding books in Australian libraries. If BHI doesn't have a book, look at Trove to find where you can go to get it. You can borrow from any University or TAFE in Victoria - We'll give you a CAVAL borrowers card before you go.
