Library skills toolbox

The Box Hill Institute's Library skills toolkit aims to give you the knowledge to be able to effectively search for information across a variety of sources.

Content has been split into the following areas:

Some sections also include quizzes so you can test your learning.

You can either work your way through all the content, or skip those sections where you are already comfortable with your knowledge. If you want more practice, try referring to the Study Smart tutorial from the Queensland University of Technology Library - this provides a great overview of the research process, including exercises.
